Dreading work today!

Ok, let's be realistic. Management is not going to do anything to her. It would cause them more trouble than it's worth to do anything about her since she is about to retire. The only advice I can give is to KILL HER WITH KINDNESS. I know it sux, but just grin and bear it. That will be the best revenge anyone can give. Hope it all works out for you.

OK - another situation came up today. I am in charge of the annual inventory for our office. Back in February, she took a large round conference table out of the office for use in one of her businesses without permission. It was never approved. I told my boss WHILE SHE WAS TAKING THE TABLE OUT that it was still on the inventory sheet and that it still had a value of over $500.

Well, today I got my inventory sheets and must have my inventory completed before 10/8/06. I again went to my boss TODAY and told him that I can't sign off on the inventory when it's completed because of this table. He said he'd tell her she has to bring it back..

She's had it since February! What's he been doing all this time? I even told my boss' boss. He's also known about it since it happened. What am I supposed to do now?

You've done all you can. Quit letting what she does get to you, you'll send yourself to an early grave. You've alerted those who needed to be and now it's up to them. When she retires.....bake her a coffin cake....LOLOL

I Love it! Several of us talked about it today, and we've all agreed that she can throw her own retirement party! We'll have ours at work the next day!
