Glad to hear that everyone is not affected by the snowstorm. Judy now they are saying that it will rain, and will be very windy. At least no snow.. Thank God..

We didn't get near what they said. Went to bed last night with a little rain, but mostly ice. Woke up this morning to about 6 inches of snow and are expected to get another 1-3 before it stops this afternoon. Far cry from the "up to 17 inches" they said we were going to get. Although I am very happy with less snow.

Bad thing is the wind is blowing so hard at times you can't see. So pictures will have to wait. I hope they can get the roads clear tonight after the winds lie down..if they do. I'm wondering if we'll have a two hour delay in the morning or school at all.

I just hate driving on snow and ice with my van and on Tuesday I'm suppose to take my Mom to a nearby city to see a presentation on kidney dialysis and then on to her kidney Dr. afterwards. I don't want to go and drive on bad roads.

Mom said she didn't want to reschedule and I said we may have to. She said she'd rather drive herself then. Man is she stubborn. The older I get the more driving in bad weather conditions scare me. Didn't use to.

She's so cute! I guess you don't think that's cute though, having to drive her around.

Be careful!

I don't mind driving her around on good clean roads..lol. I just get so nervous when they are snowpacked or ice covered. I would have to drive about 7-8 miles to town to pick her up and then drive another 35 -40 minutes to Lafayette and then the drive back to her house and then home. I'm just getting to be an old scaredy cat.

My daughter was doubled over laughing!!! The worst part was............my husband was following me and dying laughing too!!!!!! I just pressed the 4-wheel drive button and drove on home with my laughing daughter!!!!

We got quite a bit sat. night. I'd say at least 8 inches, but I'm horribly about telling how much we got. My husband & i braved it bright and early sunday morning to go to target to get a Wii. It wasn't bad. I had the truck in 4-wheel & took main roads, but never drove faster then 40. And we did get our Wii, so it was totally worth it.

How scary...I can't believe they were laughing. I would have been crying!!! Glad you're okay and all you did was spin. I'm glad you were being watched over.
