I'm an empty nester, but somebody almost always shows up on the weekends. We have a 4-bedroom and it's funny that about the time I convinced the kids that they it's not their bedroom anymore, the g-kids starting claiming them. My problem is that the kids moved out and left some of their stuff. I keep asking my hubby if I can just pull everything out and tell them to come get before the garbage truck comes. He won't let me, because he's the biggest pack rat in the world. Heck, we even have a bucket seat from my oldest daughter's custom van (for my handicapped g-son) setting in the back of a closet FOR 7 YEARS! Well, it does keep the luggage up off the floor!

So funny! Can't have the luggage on the floor now. I know what you mean Sandy..my husband is a pack rat too. I can throw things out during the winter time and when summer gets here..I find it out in his garage. Don't know why he does that. Now I take out my own trash and burn it...I don't want it coming back.

I would love a 4 bedroom, but don't think hubby will let me build on again. I guess 3 should be enough for now, but wish they were a bit bigger. Are we ever satisfied?

I've been cleaning and organizing and am finding a lot of odds and ends each of the kids left behind. So I started a tote for each of them and when I find something I toss it in there. When they come by I send it home with them to do with what they want. I'm not able to store extra stuff here... not with a 2 bedroom house... so am making sure to drive that point home from the start.
