There is a big difference between having an affair and hiring a prostitute (or $80,000 worth of prostitutes, as the case may be). One is immoral. The other is both immoral AND illegal.

That whole situation was crazy. They talked about Spitzer one day having a shot at the Presidency, and now it's all gone for him.
I think there is something psychological about it. Isn't it weird that Senator Craig was one of the leading guys in the Senate pushing this gay marriage amendment and all that? Turns out (IMO) he is gay. Now Spitzer is so anti prostitution and locking up everyone involved in it. Turns out, he loves to hire prostitutes. Pretty interesting when you think about it. `
