My degree is mechanical engineering. I worked in a a petrochemical plant for 15 years, then went into industrial sales. I sell valves to petrochemical, power and related industries. It's interesting & pays well, but at the moment am having personnel problems. I am so frustrated & upset, I'd like to just quit, but with two daughters in college....and we want a really comfortable retirement.... I saw a sign tonight that our school district is in need of custodians. Do you think they would hire me???

Would like to work for myself like my husband does. He's a custom home builder. I could work for him, but I'd have to increase his business quite a bit to make the change worth while. So guess I will have to get up and go to work tomorrow & work the issues out. Bummer!!!!!

I'm a wedding and portrait photographer! I love my job - every minute of it, even the bridezilla moments (haha, well, sortof). In the past 5 months, I've photographed 23 weddings and next year is shaping up to be just as busy.

If anyone lives in or wants to visit the Charleston SC area (such a photogenic city!!!) I would love to take your portraits so PM me.

Val,

That is one place on my list of places to visit! Not sure when that chance will come with 2 very active teen-age boys but I am hoping to make it there one of these years! When I do, I'll let you know

I'm a SAHM & full time student. I love staying at home with my daughter & hopefully our financial situation will allow me to continue to until she's in school. My degree will be in accounting when I'm done.

All these professions sound so wonderful. I would especially like to get into photography some day. I do like taking pictures, but have no knowledge of all the different lenses, apperatures (SP) and so on. Just never enough time to learn everything I would like to learn.

Oh, my sister-in-law went to the College of Charleston. We used to visit her all the time. She graduated in May '05. That town sure is beautiful!
