I slept right through it--found out about it on the news this morning. Apparently, the shaking was strong enough here to wake up everyone I work with, just not me.
I missed the aftershock, too, and I was awake for that. I was bathing a dog, and the groomer came into the room and said, "Wow. Did you feel that?" I had no idea what she was talking about. Everyone else at work noticed, just not me. Perhaps I have really good balance, so the earth moving isn't a problem? ![]() I'm glad nobody was seriously injured. |

That is so amazing. From what I've heard, there are lots of fault lines in the US, we just don't usually feel the shaking. We used to think the only ones who had to worry about quakes were folks in California. With all the high freeway bridges at huge interchanges in our major cities, it's kinda scarry (sp??). Hopefully the designers took that into consideration.
So glad all is well, and little or no damage for most folks!!
