I don't ever "see" things around me to remind me of my Grandmother. But...I see, feel, and hear things in my mind, if that makes any sense. My Mom always told me that my Grandma had a special gift of "knowing things" sorta say before they actually happened. At times, I do the same. So, I look at this as another thread in the "bond" that ties my Grandmother and I together.

It's special to me, not to mention almost completely impossible to explain.

The only "sign" I've ever seen with my own eyes was a purple bow which mysteriously laid in front of me on a table I was sitting at. The purple bow was worn by my Yorkie pup I had that recently passed. I was camping with a bunch of friends and we sat around the table playing cards one night. We stopped the game for like 5 minutes to say hello to some friends who walked up. I turned around back to the table to begin the card game again and there sat the purple bow. I thought my friends put it there and were playing a horrific joke on me yet they promised they weren't.

To this day I cannot explain how the purple bow ended up in front of me. A part of me will always be somewhat freaked out by it I guess. Later as time went on I stopped questioning it and just tried to have peace with it all.

I know exactly what you're referring to. You can't expain it to anyone who hasn't experienced it because you end up sounding like you're insane; yet to those of us who have had this kind of experience, it's magic to hear someone else tell about having it too.

The young man I told about in the 24 hr thread used to call me "mom". He had a wacky sense of humor and charm that always got people laughing. The day after he died I fell into an exhausted sleep on my couch and was startled awake by him bouncing on the couch like he had done so many times before to me... yelling "Mommy Mommy" like an excited toddler would.
Most would call it a dream, but I know I felt him bumping my legs. I went from a dead sleep to standing in a single jump. I and my kids have felt him around us occassionally since, but the week following his death was a steady stream of visits. He and my youngest were especially close, so she gets visits from him often. Since his death when she gets her picture taken there are orbs floating near her head in them. She's convinced it's Dustin watching over her.

Man, I can't believe I'm telling about this!

The only thing I can relate to my dad is time. No matter what I'm doing, at least once a week, I'm "drawn" to look at the clock. And each time, it shows 6:17....my dad passed away at 6:17 in the evening. I've had dreams in the past where I walk into a restaurant to meet my mom for dinner and she's already seated at the table - with my dad! And I'm reminded of him each and every time I see a frog, especially if it's sitting on the back porch by the door when I walk outside - like it wants to jump in my house! He HATED those things with a passion and has passed that "hate" along to me - I can't stand them! Give me spiders, snakes, even roaches but a frog - I will hurt you!

I had an dream experience shortly after my father's passing. In my dream, I was on my lunch hour and went to the local Dairy Queen for lunch. When I got there my father was there with some of this co-workers eating lunch. I sat with Dad and was telling him all about things and just plain catching up. He then got up from the table and said he had to get back. I asked him to stay longer, but he said he couldn't, he needed to get back. When I woke up from my dream, (it was so real), I felt like I lost my Dad all over again. When I went to work, I told an older co-worker about my dream and she told me she thought it was God's way of letting us visit. I've not had a dream as vivid as that one, but feel my Dad near me a lot.

I feel my grandma around me a lot i have a sence about things and even if i have my back turned i can always tell if someone is close or trying to touch me but i feel my grandma a lot there have been a ton of things she has done to make us know she is watching over us. I can;t go into detail right now for fear of totally breaking down it's such a hard topic for me.

My mom passed away this last March. She had this chair that she always sat in.
No one else ever sat in it. A couple of days after she died I was standing next to her chair and it started rocking by itself. So I sat down and it felt like my mom had her arms around me.
