I was wondering if it mattered what kind of vaccine was given. My daughter is 10 and at the time only had 1 IPV vaccine. The rest were OPV. Now I think they are recommending that they all be OPV. SO I hope that helps with any potential problems down the road.

One of the newest theories is that it is multiple vaccinations in one injection that overwhelms the immune system and may be causing the problems in later life. Many pediatricians are now recommending not give multiple immunizations at one time, but to space them out. Hopefully, that will help this problem.

Very tough decision...unfortunate that it's still unclear...
Dont' most school require that a child be vaccinated before they may attend?

You can sign a document that you are abstaining from them. If they have a breakout in the school, you will get a call and your child has to stay home. But this law varies from state to state. With all of the Autism, most states have added this as an option.
