I bought myself a gift today!

Thanks all, I brought her home with me last night. She slept with me so fussed all of maybe 2 minutes total. LOL

I've named her Gypsy Lullaby... call her Gypsy.
She's settling in well and has been a hit with everyone so far. She's a real mellow friendly girl so spends a lot of time laying at or ON my feet. I had her out with the other pups for sunshine and fresh air today and she fit in nicely. She's somewhat bigger of course, but that didn't seem to matter to any of them.

teri88, I currently have 2 black and a chocolate lab females. So she's number 4. Both hubby and I grew up with labs, so we do enjoy them. Now I have one of each color!
I also have a standard poodle, 8 five week old Labradoodle pups and another litter due in 4 days.

Yes Shada, they keep me busy, but how much more fun could I have and it not be illegal? I get to play with puppies, and dogs, and meet a lot of really nice dog-loving people. You're not gonna hear me complain!

You want to hear something funny? We had a black lab named Shada!!! Her name was slang for Shadow. She was a wonderful dog and had been trained for hunting purposes. She absolutley loved to go hunting with my husband. She's been gone for a few years but we still miss her.

Wow! That is Megan's dream: a lab of each color! We've had a black a chocolate and a yellow, but not at the same time.Congratulations. And I LOVE the name Gypsy
