In my 40's, kept a dish of fragrant wax, those little tiny ones, on the TV where it was warm and they smelled so good. I was busy making clam did and knocked it off, had a Maltese so I scramble to pick every last one up. Finished the dip, put it in the fridg. when hubby got home he started snacking as asked me what kind of nuts was in the clam did, told him there were none, he kept eating and asked me again, showed me his teeth and they were coated in, GUESS WHAT? Since that day he checks his food really good.

That's pretty funny!! I'm surprised that your husband didn't comment on the waxy feel!!!

Comment on my post: I wasn't ever good friends with this woman so I'm not surprised that she's never spoken to me again. I see her once in a while around town and I'm tempted to ask her if she remembers me!!!!

That's a really good one!!! I can't imagine....

Yesterday I took some customers out to lunch. The restaurant we were in gives everyone a complementary cup of soup when they bring your drinks. We were all talking and the guy across from me suddenly discovered he was putting sugar in his soup instead of his tea. Poor guy was so embarassed.

Marilyn that is so funny.
My husband would buy 15 pairs of shoes at the flea market. HOPE I am not repeating myself. We were in MN at that time and you couldn't tell the right shoe from the left shoe, he was wearing them in spring, snow, etc. I got sick of him stacking those shoes on the stairs so I started throwing some out. One morning, he is getting ready to go and he yells, "Donna, have you been messing with my shoes?" I can't tell a lie, so I told him that I had gotton rid of some of the shoes. He yelled, "Why would you throw out only the left shoes?"
