I'm sorry this happened to you. Hope Layla feels better. Gracie was just sick
with similar symptoms. It only lasted a few days.

Layla has had her rash and sneezing for over two weeks now. She seems fine when she's sleeping, she breathes fine and everything, but as soon as she gets up she's sneezing again. Last night she was sniffing the floor when she sneezed, and she sneezed so hard she banged her head on the floor when she shook it! Then she was having trouble breathing before going to sleep. She stood up all of a sudden and was gasping for air
I feel so bad for my poor baby. I am terrified that she's going to get worse while I'm gone. I don't know if I can trust my brother or my roommate to give her pills for 2 days.

Sorry that I missed posting to your birthday party. How is Layla feeling now? Is she doing better?

No problem Diana
![]() Layla is doing much better. Her sneezing has lessened considerably and she's breathing well. Most of the rash on her tummy is gone too, just a few spots of dry skin left and a bit of discoloration. I took her in for a recheck at the vet yesterday and they gave me an extra week of antibiotics, and said that should do it! I also asked about her teeth and I guess the rest of her teeth look good enough and her gums are healthy enough that she doesn't need a complete dental done. The vet said it's very simple to just sedate her, pull the one tooth, and be done. She said it wouldn't cost more than $80 or $90 in total which is a HUGE relief!
