If you love math, how about engineering. There is a shortage, and beginning pay right out of college now starts at $65,000.+. Mechanical engineering is a particularly versital field, and women are in demand in this profession. Whatever you decide, wish you the very best!!!

I do love math & I know, with my husband's help I could get an engineering degree, but I'm not sure I'd love. Right now I work basically as a data entry/MET, but quite frankly i'm lonely. One of my intelligences is interpersonal which means I love being around people & helping people; there's not much of that in engineering; at least not the engineering i'm around. But it might be an option. I'm also thinking about business law or contract law.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes. I just figure now the time to figure out what i would truely love. I'm young, no kids yet, & I have the time & money to become anything i desire. Now i just have to figure out what that is.

I don't have any suggestions, but I just wanted to wish you luck. It's great that you're actively taking steps to make yourself more happy and fulfilled! Way to go!

Congratulations! That's wonderful.

I was a teacher of inner city high school students. It takes several years to figure out your classroom management skills. I was not afraid of the kids, but I have a very strong personality. Teaching is not easy. It takes a certain kind of person.

I do have to say though, I don't think that there is a job that I would have gotten more back from. I loved my kids, and enjoyed being with them. I hope I gave them something that they can use in their lives. I know I gave them love, and that's always a good thing.

My masters degree is in behavioral psychology - while it is very stressful sometimes, the rewards of helping individuals to live independent lives is priceless. I've been in the field for 22 years.

I don't have any suggestions either...my advice really hasn't been too good as of late. I just want to wish you great luck in whatever you decide. I was always told if you do what makes you happy, then it won't seem like work.
