I totally know how it feels! I had just emptied all of my pictures from my camera onto my laptop when it crashed last year. After about a week I tried turning it on and it was a miracle, it actually started! But it was midnight and I was so tired I went to bed, I just decided I wouldn't turn the computer off and in the morning I would burn my pictures to cds. Woke up and the computer was dead, it never started again, and absolutely nothing could be recovered
 So I only have about 10 baby pictures of Layla now!
