I'm sorry, It's been so busy here I've hardly been online which for me is just odd. lol
Katie's had a bit of PPD, so I've been helping her with Summer so she can get some rest and they've been staying with me most nights that Josh is gone for work.
Greg has had problems with his truck, so came home on Sat night about 10 pm and had to leave again on Sunday at 1pm.

My oldest dd, Mom and her friend came on Saturday, and left Paige (8 yr old granddd) with me for a few days, so she keeps me hopping. So I've been cooking for a bunch of people all weekend and trying to keep up with everything going on.

I don't expect things to settle down much until the end of the week, but try to pop on when I have a few minutes.

This coming weekend we have the parade and carnival etc in town, so I suppose we'll go to a few things there as well.

I am here. I have been pulling weeds and getting into a nasty patch of poision ivy!!!! All I have to do is just look at it and I break out!! I have scratched and scratched. When I first got into it I took a shower and I could see all the spots! Then later they went away. Well after a day or so those same spots came bursting out!!! I have been itching for a week. I have been loaded up on benadryl for a while now so I tend to pass out for a while during the day! LOL Plus I have been trying to get my daughter ready for school. She is going to middle school this year. She is excited and I am a nervous wreck! I am sure she will do just fine tho.

I knew back at the begining of summer that with two teens and one computer my time would be limited! NEXT week Megan goes to church camp for the week and Kevin will be working so I may even get a chance to go on the computer!

Gina....did you notice Sebastion Arcelas in Jersey Boys? He is the husband of Megan's idol, Stephanie J Block and he is HOT! (Yes and young enough to be my son!) I met him two years ago at a concert Stephanie gave and we talked for about half an hour. He is a doll! He was talking about Stephanie and I said "Awww, you love her" (they were not even dating yet). He said "well, she's a good friend" And I told him to tell her how he felt because life is too short not to. Next thing I know, Megan is telling me they are engaged! They got married last fall.

Diana, I'm sorry your plans had to change. Sounds like you'll still get to go to the lake..just a little later. I would love to go fishing.

Sorry I've been AOL, just been busy with one thing or another. We're at work all day and we've been getting back into the habit of going to the gym in the evenings. We're cooking more at home now rather than eating out so much. Gym, cooking, eating & cleaning up keeps us busy until about 9 pm. Karen is here visiting for a couple of weeks, and we are watching the Olympics together in the evenings. I've been spending too much time on the computer in the mornings and getting to work a little later than I should, so I've been limiting my time here in the the mornings.

My very dear Russian friend is having a scheduled C-section at 1:00 Thursday afternoon, on their wedding aniversary. Since her mom isn't here and her MIL is pretty elderly and not the hands-on type of mom, I've promised to help her out with things. She's really worried about feeding her family and caring for the baby when she comes home. Her hubby isn't much help at all in the kitchen. His family is one of those who is stuck in the 50's if you know what I mean. His mom looks like Mrs. Cleaver would in her elder years. She may wear high heels in the kitchen. I doubt it, but when you see them, you would wonder. Men do men's work and no more, that kind of family and everyone should endeavor to look like JFK and Jackie. Hopefully you are getting the picture. Anyway, I'll be helping Julia after she comes home, so perhaps in a week or so can get back on here some.

Miss you all!!

Busy weekend for me also.
Saturday went to visit a friend who lives 3 hours away from me. She is going thru cancer treatments. Lost her breast to cancer. What a fighter though! She is doing great emotionally and physically!!! Four of us went to visit. Went out for lunch, then to a antique store. Found a step back end table I have been looking for. That was a nice added bonus to the day.

Sunday went kayaking. Three hour trip down the river. Enjoyed that. So peaceful.

Today back to work!

Boy is it nice to hear from everyone...Hey! Marilyn...you're missing...now you get back here!!!

Gina I would love to see Jersey Boys. I am/was a big fan of Franki Vali.

Diana, You are doing all the things I love doing. I sure wish we hadn't sold our pop-up. We sold it to get a hard shell camper, but never did. I'm under crunch time too getting everything ready to pick up the little darlings on Wednesday morning.

Tink...poor Katie. It's so good she has you to help her. You can probably bribe your granddaughter into helping you do all kinds of things...LOL.

Michelle, I had poision oak once and it was no fun. So I know poision Ivy isn't fun either. Just don't scratch it!

Terri, you're going to have to tell the kids that if it isn't legitimate research....the computer is yours...LOL.

Shada, kayaking sounds fun. My son and hubby went in our jon boat fishing Sunday, but I just had too much laundry and needed to get my student list ready for school. I'm under crunch time like Diana.
