Oh Janet, that's awful. I still get weepy when I think about Bella. What really haunts me is the image of her 4 week old puppies trying to rouse her and nurse off her cold dead body. **SHUDDER**
I am so lucky Greg and Josh were here that morning to get her down and bury her because I truly don't think I could have handled it (physically or emotionally). Since it happened I've heard about another dog too that died the same way... so devastating! We have since put the electric wire back on top of our fence to discourage our dogs from trying to climb or jump and have a repeat of that tragedy. I'd rather they get a shock as a reminder to stay off it than to lose another one that way. My prayers are with your friend. I truly do understand how mortified she must be. Thanks for thinking of me. HUGS
