They are in my prayers also. My bosses son is a doctor at a Naval Base in
San Diego. He just started in July. They are going out there for Thanksgiving.
I hope the wind dies down and they get some much needed rain.

My prayers are also with them. It's such a stubborn fire. I am so sorry for them.

I'm glad to hear that the fires won't be a worry for you but I feel really sorry for the other families. Even dealing with the ash and smoke is hard. I'll say a prayer for the situation. Stay safe and keep us posted!!

thanx everyone. the winds died down yesterday which helped the fire fighters out alot. they were able to make some progress. it looks like things are alot more under control today... but of course theres still some danger but our temp are cooling down, wind is disapearing and they should have them out soon!

unfortunately it was too late for some and tons of houses were burned. a few of our clients at work were evacuated and one that we know of lost their house. keep prayers going for those that are going to need all the help they can get in the next few months rebuilding their homes and lives.

Such a sad situation. I heard on the news that over 500 homes were lost. Those poor families...and so close to the holidays.
