I love seeing pictures of your babies!! Their coats are so beautiful!!! I can't imagine how much time and effort it takes to keep them so beautiful. As you can see we don't keep Rex & Rowdy's coats long, we keep them short. My husband prefers it short and it is so much easier for us. Plus in the summer when we travel in the trailer with them, they are out in the brambles and bushes - but I know others are out there too, and I just don't know how they keep their babies looking so gorgeous!!!

I actually only have 2 in coats (Sadie & Andy) i just got Eli's cut this week in a puppy cut, he has a cottony coat which is one reason i won't be breeding him. The rest as soon as it starts to warm up they get cut down as short as i can get them. They all love to be outside and drag everything in with them and some get in the pond. I would love to be able to grow a show coat but i just don't have the time for it. Besides most dogs with show coats spend their lives inside, they don't get to be on grass or carpet, only ceramic or linoleum and sleep on silk or satin beds. Not much of a life for most dogs, except sleeping on the silk bed.
