Okay, Okay, guess I can feel sorry for you. -3 is way tooo cold for me. Maybe this is why some of my ancestors moved from Switzerland to Kansas and ended up in Texas. It's 70 deg here on the coast right now, and 72 deg at my house. Really nice today.

You all probably think I am a WUSS! It was 28 last night, the high today is 40.
Had new central heat installed and it has been running all day and can't get above 65 inside. We have that damp cold, have a sweats and winter house coat and still freezing.

That said, your NEW central heat should be able to heat your home above 65 - I think you should have it checked out!!!

We have an apartment behind our house and it gets so hot in there that the tenent has to switch to a/c. I called two weeks ago to get that checked out but the guy that installed it is too busy. I paid $4200 this summer for the new heat and air, with the unltra violet lights installed to kill mold, we have been sick ever since then. My nose runs constantly is so raw inside, we are coughing, sneezing. It is suppose to get in the 70's Sat. hopefully he will find the time to check us out. As you might recall, THE DH is in charge.

I don't understand why your central heat isn't warming up better than that, Donna. You probably need to have it looked at. Can you feel the heat coming out of the vents? My uncle had wires turned around on the heat and airconditioning. My aunt complained all winter about how cold it was in the house but nobody realized what was wrong until she turned the airconditioning on and we all about melted. I happened to be there and I've never had such a miserable night!!!
Janet, That's awful cold!!! I'm sure that you and the kids were all miserable on the bus. I know that I would have been. We're suppose to get a lot warmer for the weekend and I'll try to send some your way!!
