![]() Lindsay, it sounds like you had a great weekend! I'm so glad that you are happy and having a good time! Lynne, we don't have anything planted yet, although these are the plants that is recommended to be planted now: Artichoke and asparagus crowns, Asian greens, broccoli, cabbage, chard, collards, lettuce, mustard greens, onion sets, and spinach. Also, all hardy perennial herbs, such as chives, oregano, and thyme; and cool-season annuals or biennials such as dill, fennel, and parsley can be planted. I'm going to plant some asparagus (but not in the bed) and some oregano and I'll do that as soon as the extension is finished. Right now the extra dirt is all mounded up in the 4X8 bed and I can't plant till I get it in the new 4X4 addition.

Lynne and I were going to go to the dog show in Indy on Saturday, but when we got up, it had snowed and we were both leery of driving that far on slick roads. Turned out they weren't really bad and we could have made it just fine. We ended up going on Sunday and it was really nice. So many beautiful dogs, especially the Yorkies...lol. I bought the doggies one of those 'Hide-a-squirrels' and they love it. I also bought a coin purse with a Yorkie on it and Lynne brought me the cutest little Yorkie salt and pepper shakers.
We ate at a Chinese restaurant on our way home and it was so good! I kept wanting to stall...just wasn't ready to go home yet, so we stopped at a Target store. I had such a great day and it was so nice being with Lynne again. We hadn't seen each other since before Christmas....I really missed her.

It sounds like everyone had a nice weekend!! We had a Valentine's banquet at church on Friday night. It was really nice. The food is always good, they play games, and have romantic music, the cost was only $10, and it's always decorated beautifully.
We went out to eat at a local restaurant on Saturday night since it was Valentine's day and had crab legs with coconut shrimp for two. The coconut shrimp was wonderful but we decided that the crab wasn't that good. It had sit in water way too long and didn't "crack out" right so we had to dig every piece out. We drove around town for a while like we used to when we dated. Believe me, it wasn't the same!!!! Then we came home and rented "Nights in Rodantha". It was good but not necessarily the greatest. Sunday was the first Sunday with our new pastor. We had a lot of extra people there and after I taught Sunday School I ended up helping in our little kids children church because the woman in there had too many kids to handle on her own. We had a soup dinner after church with a cookie sale then I came home and got my Sunday nap!!! LOL We went back to church for the evening service and I finally got to hear the new pastor preach. I really like our new pastor and his wife. I'm excited about them being here!!

I took a vacation day last Friday to spend the day with Sarah (my son's 17 month old) who had been with Laura (my oldest daughter) all week. We had kids and a few people over on Saturday for boiled crawfish (for Harold's 60th birthday). I kicked back yesterday and got all my doggies cleaned and loved up.
Harold's been sick, so we still don't have the garden fence back up. Monday came too soon!
