When I was having all of my surgery, my bill was late, $39 late fee, called and they credited me. I now pay on line because they email me a reminder. I only have 2, your would think I could have paid more attention.

I got notices about raising the interest rate to about 17%! I have to make sure they're not listed on any of my online shopping accounts because I'm surely never using them.

I pay my credit cards in full, and only use them for convenience. I've been just using my debit card for the past several months. If I can't afford it and buy it anyway, after my bills are paid, it's pasta for dinner.

Of course, in an emergency - they are a great back-up.

With spring coming....don't forget the garage sales Haley. You can find wonderful kids clothes (among other things) for little of nothing and most are in great shape.

maybe for me janet, but i can't bring myself to buy used clothes for my son, i'll wait till jcpenneys has there sales and get his clothes there.. i really don't need anything except for some short sleeve work shirts and i can get those at gabs for like 2.00 each, we don't go anywhere anymore, so i'll live this year... i have a bathing suit from last year, i'll be over my sister pool most of this summer so Micah will have fun... and were going to Erie for a couple days in June or July i forget now, we paid for that vacation already booked it last year.. My whole family is going for some kind of festival up there... so that should be nice. we were suppose to go to Florida again, but no one could afford it this year.

THe trick is to buy at the end of the year for the following summer or winter. I use to buy clothes 1 or 2 sizes bigger for my dd so that she could wear them them for the following winter or summer. I use to really get some good buys at Toys R Us, Kohls and Penneys at the end of the year.
