I'm sick and tired of this weather, all it does is rain snow, and storm here.

We're having the same weather as you are Janet, wind and all. My deck was almost clear of snow. Max and Annie were having a ball running around out there. When I let them out yesterday, his little feet were so hesitant. She ran right back inside.
I was out when the snow started. It was really hail, which is something I really haven't experienced before. It was interesting, but driving was bad.

I thought when I got up this morning that the ground would be covered, but the snow it just now starting. Don't think we're going to get as much as they thought, but this wind is already awful and it's suppose to pick up some. Glad I'm staying inside to bathe the dogs.

How much snow did you get today Janet?
I went outside this morning to shovel and chip all the packed-down snow off the front sidewalk (we live on a busy street so it's always walked on before we get a chance to shovel). I was wearing a light jacket and I was SWEATING! So when I took the garbage out to the dumpster in the back alley later this afternoon, I went out in just a t-shirt. It's up to -8 C (17.6 F). The sun was shining and it was gorgeous out there! Well, gorgeous for winter lol.

It's turned cold here, too. But of course not like there, and no snow. Right now, we'd take precipitation in any form just to get some moisture in the ground. I think we're turning into desert. The poor farmers and ranchers are suffering sooooo bad. No one living remembers anything this bad before that I've heard of. About 10 to 15 years ago, we had a summer when it rained every day, and we thought we were turning into a tropical rain forrest. The green looked much better than brown though.
Hope it doesn't get too bad, Janet. I'm with you, shoot the varment. LOL

We really didn't get much at all...just a good ground cover and enough to make the roads hazardous in spots. Temp this morning is 18 degrees and the wind is blowing of course so it feels much colder. But hey....Thursday it's suppose to be 52 degrees for the high...this crazy weather just can't make up it's mind what to do.
I hope you all get some rain soon Marilyn. Green is much better than brown and doesn't burn quite as easily.
