G-pa came through the surgery fine. The bones were starting to heal so that's good & bad. A little extra pain because the surgeon had to break them apart, but it's good that it will heal. He was pretty out of it last night, but his sense of humor was in tact & his vitals were good. Hopefully they let him come back to our hospital for a few days & work on his walking. Thanks for all the prayers.

I believe the surgery will definitely help him heal & feel better quicker than he was going to without it.

Thank goodness the surgery is over. You are a wonderful granddaughter, and I'm sure he feels your love.

He's back at our hospital & the occupational therapist is going to work with him for a few days to help him walk better again. It seems we're coming out of the woods. Thank you for all the prayers.
