Brenda I love camping, just haven't done it for awhile. I've been looking for used motorhomes (as if we could afford one). I did go to an auction this past Saturday and looked at a camper, but it was so small. I'm not one to give up too easily so I'll keep looking.

That sounds so exciting Brenda! I love camping too. We haven't done it as a family since my parents bought the cabin and sold our tent trailer. I do love going out with friends to set up tents at a lake for a weekend. My mom actually just bought another tent-trailer from a coworker for just $100!!! They are going to set it up while the new cabin is getting moved out to the lake and fixed up... just a place to sleep and cook until the new place is ready!

Brenda, we've been known to take our travel trailer to a little park just about 10 miles from our home, on the outskirts of the city - just to get out of town. Sometimes we go 1500 miles, sometimes we go 50 miles, but we always have a great time! In only 3 weeks we'll be going to Arkansas (about 500 miles away) for a couple of weeks!

I actually used to camp alot when my girls (skin) were young. As they grew life got to busy with dance recitals, softball etc.....so we sold our trailer. I LOVE camping...although I can't say that we rough it too much...this trailer has EVERYTHING and more than what we need....I LOVE IT! can't wait for our first trip.

Well then, you are REALLY going to love this the second time around!!! We were much like you - we camped (tent) when the kids were young and then we all got too busy. After my daughter graduated from HS, moved away, etc. Gary and I started thinking about it again. We bought a 30 ft. 5th wheel about 11 years ago and we thoroughly loved it. We sold it a year and a half ago, because it was too big, and got an 18 ft. travel trailer. It is very small, but perfect for us now!

I wouldn't say our trailer is huge but, it is perfect for us. We brought a couple of our friends with us last summer and we had a blast!! I don't understand why they don't make the beds (the table and the little couch) bigger so you can sleep 2 comfortably on it? This always amazed me. Of course they are made for 2 people but they would have to be small people. I could never see 6 people sleeping in that trailer...comfortably that is.
