My Daughter's Vacation.....

I talked to Amy this morning and they were about 100 miles from DC and it's pouring down rain. I think that they're going to change their plans and go to a museum today and do the outside stuff tomorrow. It sounds like they're having a really good time. Everyone is enjoying all of the gifts. The last one they opened had a pair of tops with a light inside.

I think they're going to be gone for 10 days. It depends on how things go with Jason's Mom. They have some problems with her. They could possibly be home earlier. but I doubt it.

You are the best Diana! What a great idea...and how loving you both are to take all the time to think it through and label everything.

Tell Amy that If Jason's mother gives them a hard time, they can come to my house. You really should have come. We would have had so much fun. We're having yard sales galore around here.

Diana , did you hear from Amy? I hope her MIL is being civil and they are enjoying their time.

I called Amy on Sunday moring and they were in Hershey, PA. They were still in the motel and were getting ready to spend the day there. I don't know what they ended up doing there. I'll find out later. Sunday night they were planning on staying at Jason's mom's house (her name is Diane!!!).

I hadn't talked to them for a couple of days because I knew they were touring Washington. Amy said that once is enough and that they probably won't be going back. She said the traffic was horrible!!! They moved at 10 mph, there were sirens going off everywhere, cars honking, and people everywhere!!!! They took a tour bus and said that was good except they still had to do a lot of walking. The girls were bored with everything except the Museum of Natural History. She had her camera battery run down and Kera's memory card got full so they missed getting some pictures. I warned her about having an extra memory card so she wouldn't miss getting any pictures.

I hope that all goes well at Jason's mom's house. She has made such a fuss over Kera because she looks like her and hasn't done much for Daya. I hope she doesn't play favorites with the girls. It would really upset me if she didn't treat Daya well.

Judy, I tried to talk them into taking me but they wanted a family vacation. I figure that some day I'll just fly in and visit you!!!!
