I couldn't have been there by 5:30 ya know!! And I am an early riser...most of the time. Don't do any more than you have to until you start feeling better. I'd stick with the pain pills and throw out those steroids....but that's me. I'll check on you in a little bit.

well things have not gotten any better, just can't get any relief from the pain. Yesterday went to the ER they did a cat scan and gave me pain meds & steriod by IV, said i have 2 stones but not the cause of my pain. This morning i woke up around 3:30 am and could not sit or stand from the pain, i went back to bed and dozed for a couple of more hours and still no relief. Went to hubby's DR and he sent me for an MRI, I have a herniated disc, got a shot of steroid in my back and still have some pain but nothing like before. I go the 23rd to talk with a neuro suergon to see if he want to continue with more shot's or go straight to surgery. I am so hopeing the shot's work i really do not want to have surgery but do not want to have to deal with this pain in the future either.

Hey Gail: If i have to have surgery i have visions of them putting me in a room with mom, now that would be pay back wouldn't it LOL

Oh Lynne! I cannot believe you are having such pain and have this diagnosis!!! I'm so sorry! i sure hope the shots work - you do not want surgery if you can help it! Keep us posted.
