The creeks and rivers around here are just too dirty. I remember when I was young that the same creeks we use to go to all the time and could almost see the bottom..are now so cloudy and dirty. Very sad.

My favorite thing to catch were catfish. We used to have some of the best fish fries. Those were a little big for eating, but what fun to catch. I'm going back to look at the pics again...

Janet! You should live closer!!! Gary loves to catfish - in fact that's almost exclusively what he fishes for here in Texas. We have a big fish fry every Memorial Day weekend. Catfish is the usual fish with a few bass, crappie or trout thrown in. But everyone perfers catfish! MMMMMMM!!!!!!
