I wish mine played basketball!!! That's my favorite sport. She says she's going out for the BB team after volleyball - but I don't think she'll make it as she hasn't been playing club basketball, so she's not very good.

Oh, I love to watch volleyball!! It sounds like your granddaughter is sure to make the team!!! How exciting!!!

We're such a small school that everyone makes the team, it's just a matter of how much you get to play once you're on it. My granddaughters are all playing. I won't be able to watch too many of their games because some of them are on the same days that Jaci plays.

I like watching volleyball the best and then boys basketball. I should probably sign up to take some of the game trips.

It's so much fun to watch the g-kids in all their activities. My g-daughter, Christian, is a 7th grade cheerleader. Since I'm 5'10", I was pretty much forced to play basketball and volleyball, but softball was a favorite. It looks like Delaney (10yo) might be my tall one and she is really good at softball.

Enjoy!

And her BRAND NEW volleyball shoes were stolen today from the locker room. She set her athletic bag down and went to the other side of the locker room wall to use the big mirrors to fix her hair - gotta look good for school, don't cha know! When she returned, her shoes were missing from her bag. I suspect someone just did it for meanness - I can't imagine that anyone in that locker room would wear her shoes - they'd be stupid if they did. From now on, the bag WILL BE locked in the locker when not in use!!!

Anyway, we had to go buy new shoes tonight - Grandma came through as mom was broke from buying the stolen ones!!!

How sad. That's too bad that her shoes were stolen. I can't believe how sticky-fingered kids are today. She should have announced very loudly about the athlete's foot that she was going to the doctor for treatment for because it was a very stubborn strain!!!! That might have gotten the shoes back!!!!

Awwwwwww how sad, someone had to spoil your grandaughters excitement!

That happened to my son when he went off to basketball camp at MSU, yrs. ago...What I dont get is, don't the parents see there children coming home wearing shoes they did not purchase for them? Hopefully a responsible parent will notice and have the child return them, to your grandaughter!
