Cabela's is fun to walk around in because of all the mountings but I hardly ever find anything there for myself either. But I go because my husband enjoys going there. He certainly tags along with me often enough that I figure I can do the same for him.
It sounds like your husband got a really good deal on his shoes. Too bad that you didn't find anything!!
