Sorry you're having a tough time.....MY advice is seek counceling. There are a lot of good places out there where cost will not be a problem. If you truly want the help, leave no stone unturned.

It's true that there are some people out there who only feel good about themselves by bringing other people down, but that's because they have issues of their own. Just look around 4WT, there are so many good people out there who are loving and caring and willing to help out.
I think if you want to go to church, try it. When I was younger, my family never went to church, so I went without them. I come from a town of 500 people, so I knew EVERYONE. It doesn't matter what your family thinks of you about it, if you have found your faith it might do a lot of good to be able to listen and discuss with others who have the same beleifs as you. Many churches are just like little communities, where you will be accepted with open arms and open hearts.

First off, welcome to this forum!! Second, I am glad you found God in your life. He's been there all along, but was just waiting patiently for you. You've over come so many battles in your life and you are a very strong and dedicated person.
I honestly feel you need to forgive (not easy I am sure) those and love those that hurt you. Even though you don't understand or agree with how they treated you, you are the one who is more important. You are in charge of your life, you choose which road you want to take, and God is with you to guide you. (Let him be your driver, he wont steer you wrong) Third, not everybody in this world is out to get you. There are many if given the chance can be so important in your life. They will love you, care for you, and give you peace. God gave us friends to love, enjoy it and take his gift graciously. You could be missing out on so many beautiful people out there if you close them out. I know it's hard to trust, and I know we get burned by others sometimes. But, it's worth giving our hearts to others because if we don't, could be missing out on some worthwhile relationships.
