I'll be out of town

Hi All! I'll be out of town for a few days (Sunday-Wednesday). I have to attend a conference in Atlanta, Georgia with one of my students. She got a scholarship and I am her mentor for the scholarship period so we have to attend a conference together to learn what we need to do in the next couple of years (the scholarship is for 2 years of study).

I really hate leaving Gary when he is not feeling well, but he will be OK (I hope). My daughter is only 10 minutes away so she can run interference if need be.

I will get to see lots of friends at the conference and normally I would really be looking forward to going, but I am still tired from the cruise and a hectic week at work - and then worrying about Gary and his gut.

But it will be fun to see my old friends. I have lots of friends/colleagues around the country that I only see at conferences, so that will be nice. I'll check in with my fancy phone - so you won't be completely rid of me!
