I instantly threw up....I was so embarassed!!!!
But veal is SO tender because it is a baby.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW poor little baby!!!!!! I can't eat venison either. My husband used to hunt, but I could sit on the porch and watch the deer..does, bucks and the babies and I could just never bring myself to eat it. I could definitely fix it for the boys...they'd love it and it's so easy to fix.

Oh gosh. My hubby hunts, too. But the only way I justify it is to eat it! I was an Agricultural Economics major in college and part of the Ag. Industry is meat processing. Well, for one of my classes I had to go to a meat processing plant and watch cows, pigs, and sheep be slaughtered and processed and everything from the time they are alive until their meat is at the grocery store. It was pretty eye opening. But, if people didn't eat meat, it would be extremely bad for the environment because cow farts emmit methane gas which severely depletes the o-zone layer. So, EAT MEAT, or it will be detrimental to the earth!

This is a YUMMY dish!!!

TEX-MEX PULLED PORK

Sauce
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 c. bottled barbecue sauce
1 med. onion, sliced thin
2 cans 4.5 oz each diced green chilies
1/4 cup of chili powde (I know it seems like alot but trust me, it's not)
1 tsp. each ground cumin and dried oregano
1/4 tsp. ground cinnomon
1 2 1/2 lb well trimmed boneless pork loin roast
1/2 cup chopped cilantro

mix sauce ingr's in a 3 QT or larger slow-cooker. Add pork, then spoon sauce over pork just to cover.

Cover and cook on high 3 1/2 hrs or on low 8-10 hrs or until pork is fork tender. Remove pork to a cutting board and pull meat into shreds.

Pour sauce into serving bowl, stir in cilantro and shredded pork.

Terrific on buns, taco shells or rolled into flour tortillas
Optional - add shredded cheddar or Monterey jack cheeses, lettuce, tomatoe, sour cream, and black olives.

Enjoy

Eat meat so there are fewer cow farts!

Now, THAT's one I hadn't heard before. I'll have to try it on my mil, the vegetarian.
