YT used to be better. I have to say that I learned pretty much everything I know about yorkies from YT, and from the people I met there. There are many wonderful people there too.

I stopped going on when the fighting began to take over the site. There was rarely a thread on there that didn't have at least a nasty post. Many had several mean spirited posts. Some people, it began to feel like, went on there just to be negative. As it got worse, I realized that I do not like it there, and stopped going. There is a group of members there who are just not worth my attention.

Jessie found YT the day that Gracie Leigh died. She was so upset and wanted to find me a new dog right away. She didn't even know that I was a member. She googled yorkies and found YT. Some people were lovely to her, but the fourth or fifth post was so vile and uncalled for that I still would like to respond to that woman. I would love to tell her exactly what I think about her mean and negative nastiness.

This was Jessie's post:

"DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A YORKSHIRE TERRIER BREEDER WITHA A FEMALE READY TO COME HOME. TRAGEDY STRUCK OUR HOME TODAY. MY MOM JUST MOVED UP FFROM THE CITY TO BE NEAR US BECAUSE I HAVE MS AND THREE SMALL CHILDREN AND MY OWN 100+ ALASKAN MALAMUTE GOT LOOSE AND KILLED MY MOM'S PRECIOUS , BELOVED GRACIE LEE, 1 YEAR OLD YORKIE. WE ARE ALL IN SHOCK AND THE KIDS SAW THE WHOLE THING, I KNOW MY MOM AND ALTHOUGH SHE HAS MAX A TWO YEAR OLD YORKIE I KNOW THE DISTRACTIONOF TAKING CARE OF A NEW BABY WILL HELP TO PREVENT HER FALLING INTO A TERRIBLE DEPRESSION. SHE HAS NOT EVEN CLOSED ON HER CONDO AND ONLY MOVED HER FURNITURE UP LAST NIGHT, SHE WAS GOING TO STAY WITH US FOR 4 Dys until the closing. i FEEL SOOOOO GUILTY AS DOES MY OLDEST DAUGHTER BECAUSE SHE WAS HOLDING THE LEASH, WE ALL FEEL LIKE WE ARE IN SHOCK, BUT I FEEL THAT LOOKING FORWARD TO A NEW BABY NOT TO REPLACE THE FABULOUS GRACIE BUT TO FILL THE HOLE IN MY MOM'S HEART WILL HELP HER, PLEASE WRITE ME WITH ANY AND ALL SUGGESTIONS, I WILL DRIVE AS FAR AS 8 HOURS TO PICK UP THE PUPPY. WE ARE LOCATED IN DELAWRE COUNTY IN UPSTATE NEW YORK, JESSICA WRIGHT"

This was the response I am talking about:

"I'm sorry for your mom's loss, but to be honest, I don't know of anyone who would sell you a yorkie considering the risk of that happening again.

You really need to contact a dog behavior specialist to help your dog get over it's agression issues. You are fortunate that the dog was in your family and not a strsngers dog, or worse yet a child.

Dog agression should not be taken lightly.

I'm sorry if that souinds uncaring, because I do care, I care about the poor little dog that had to die unnecessarily. __________________

I went back on to post that Gracie had died and then to put up a memorial. Now, I'm done with them, except for a couple of sellers and breeders.
